Why work in Zante?
Zante, also called Zakynthos, is a Greek island, and Laganas is its famous party resort. It's busy all summer, and its bars, clubs and beach venues need seasonal staff to keep the season running. Most resort work happens at night, so your days are usually your own.
Zante summer jobs for 2027
Exactly what's available depends on the venue and the season, but these are the kinds of roles we regularly help people into:
- Bar work – pouring drinks in bars and clubs, right in the middle of the night-time buzz.
- PR – chatting to holidaymakers on the strip and getting them through a venue's door.
- Club representative – promoting events and helping out front-of-house.
- Ticket seller – selling events around the resort, usually on commission.
- Shot seller – working the floor of busy venues and earning through sales.
- VIP hostess – looking after tables and guests in clubs and beach venues.
- DJ – playing bars, clubs and events.
- Waiting staff – restaurants, hotels, bars and beach clubs, on day or night shifts.
- Security – keeping venues safe with calm crowd management.

You don't necessarily need experience. Venues want people who are confident, reliable and good with people.

- Get your job offer before you go. Your job is offered to you before you arrive in resort, and you're guaranteed a trial – after that, it's down to you to keep it.
- Book your accommodation. Pick a one-, two- or three-month stay in our Laganas workers' accommodation.
- Land with backup. Our reps are in resort through the season to help sort problems and to help you with your working documents.
In Zante, your accommodation and your job are kept separate. Pay, hours and conditions are agreed directly with the venue that employs you, so there's no single "Zante wage", and some roles are commission-led. Documents
The paperwork side is easier than it sounds: the venues you work for help you get your working documents in order, and our reps will help you with yours too. Before you fly, have these ready:
- A passport that's valid for your whole trip
- Travel insurance that covers your whole stay
- Your EHIC (Ireland) or GHIC (UK) card
- Copies of your passport, insurance and booking confirmation saved somewhere you can reach from any phone
Greece uses the euro, so bring some cash for your first few days as well as a backup bank card.
Accommodation in Laganas
Our Zante workers' accommodation is on the Laganas side of the island, around Kalamaki Road. It's approximately 5 minutes from the beach, 7 minutes from the Laganas strip and 3 minutes from a 24-hour shop, with access to a pool nearby and kitchen facilities.
It's budget, shared worker accommodation – basic rather than boutique. Each booking is one space for one person, and you'll share your room with two other people of the same gender. Add your friends' names when you book and we'll do our best to place you together, although exact rooms are only confirmed once they're allocated.
Prices
- 1 month (June, July or August): from £549 per person. June is £599, July is £699 and August is £549. £50 deposit option.
- 2 months (June–July or July–August): £1,249 per person. £100 deposit option.
- 3 months (June–August): £1,650 per person. £100 deposit option.
